As pit boss of the world's first and only Utilikilted Championship Competition Barbeque Team (The Memphis Barbeque Company), I must say that the Survivor is the best model for the major events.

I must say I vastly prefer the traditional kilt and I don't really consider this a 'kilt' per say, more just a MUG. It's still nice though and what attracts me to the product is the fact that it has a multitude of super useful pockets :D I'll probably be getting one.

I've had mine for about 3 years, I love it!! I have Irish Wolfhounds and Scottish Deerhounds and I show them wearing my Kilt, I would wear it to work too but I get tired of the gay men hitting on me, it is flattering but it gets real old, real fast!

I've been looking at this website for years, but didn't want to order online. Last weekend a utilikilt dealer was at the Charleston Scottish games, and I got one. I also have a traditional blackwatch kilt.

The utilikilt is great, and a huge amount of work obviously goes into each one.

If anyone still thinks the price is high, check out 21st Century Kilts. It's a Scottish company that makes a similar product. Their "hipster kilt" comes in black, denim, or camo with cargo pockets for a whopping $665. The cargo pockets are in the front and look terrible.

It is two different products you can't really compare them. Its like comparing the best laptop to the best desktop computer.

So... I met this guy who owned one of these skirts that you guys sell... and well.. what a turn off! If I wanted to date someone who wore a skirt, I'd just find a woman. They look much hotter in skirts... trust me..

I understand if you want to wear this to a cultural event or maybe if you're in Scotland or something.. but everyday use in North America? What ..the.. eff!? no.. just.. no!

I also have been reading some comments about it looking really "badass" but it's not. Just trust me. You look psycho. Also.. some of the other comments I read just makes it seem like you're a bunch of perverts...

If you're thinking that this utilityskirt is a good idea or if you will attract all of the ladies... you won't. Maybe really ugly ones.. but probably not even them! And I'm not the only one who thinks this way. I got other people's opinions before writing this post.

At no point in UR rambling, incoherent response were U even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having read UR post. I award U no points and may the supreme Being have mercy on UR Carma.

First paragraph says it all! This person must be Bisexual? As for perverts does he/she look in the mirror? Must be a very ignorant and immature person. Amazing!!

Why dont you open more stores across the country? To save on the shipping costs. If you have more stores, you will get the word out and maybie more guys will wear them.

WOW! What a buying experience! Went to the Downtown Seattle store to try on a UK. It was the noon hour and still overcast in Seattle. I looked at kilt while the store clerk handled some future buyers. When they left he asked me what my size was and got the right UK for me. With the front door of the store open and crowds going by he told me to drop my pants right there in the store while wraping a black UK around me. I was there to do this so I dropped my pants and experienced the coolness of a UK. I didn't want to make an impulse buy so he let me walk around the store for about 10 to 15 minutes to get used to wearing a UK. While I was doing this the souble decker tourtist bus stops at the light in front of the store and guess who there looking at?? A woman was in the store checking out UK and came up to me to asking why I was going to purchase one. She also wanted to know whats underneath...I let her peak and she saw ....briefs! I wore my motorcycle boots, leather jacket & do-rag, I had to say I looked mighty "f"in tough in my black UK. I purchased my first Utilikilt and wore it out of the store with the young woman yelling, 'Woo got a kilt". Made me feel special. So I walked around Pioneer Square smoking a cigar and showing Seattle my new Utilkilt!

Just returned from my 2nd trip to Seattle--and the mandatory visit to the UK store! :D You guys are the greatest, always friendly and welcoming--even when up to your eyeballs in shoppers/visitors (as you were the day I came through last week)! I absolutely love wearing my kilts, and enjoy the looks I get from people as I pass by. Sure, there's the occasional "wtf?", but mostly "wow!" I'm already looking forward to my next trip!
