I was just on a mission trip in Tennessee this past weekend and saw the utilikilt for the first time. It is a wonderful idea! I work in WV in the maintenance dept and I was wondering if you make a utilikilt for women? I don't think my maintenance guys would wear one, they're not Scottish like me, but I would definately be interested.

In the Hot & Humid Arkansas weather, there is no garmet better suited than a Utilikilt. I now have 6 Utilikilts for all occasions. My friends and family now expect to see me in a kilt. I have 2 Camouflage originals (nice and light weight) 1 olive original (With zipper), 1 Caramel Workman (with zipper), old school huh?, 1 black workman, and one tan survival. I work in the yard in the caramel workman, hike and go to outdoor events in the originals, and wear the survival for whatever I like (lake, parties, store, Hardware Store, etc). I used to get funny looks from the people around here, but after I explain that it is a Utilikilt, people understand.

I have been a proud owner of a Utilikilt for a few years now. People are usually shocked by my kilt, but it doesn't extend father than an odd look or a verbal comment. Last fall I encountered a person who was inspired by my kilt and wrote a song that I think the whole community will enjoy. Have a look at the link below....

After seeing them worn at various motorcycle rallies I've attended, I decided to finally get one of my own.

Nothing beats the end of a long hot ride than relaxing in a Utilikilt. Let's the "boys" cool down after being cooped up in that hot leather all day!

Comtemplated getting one for 2 years. Took my Daughter to ACEN in Chicago saw the booth and could not pass it up! I wear a military uniform all week and my Utilikilt is my favorite weekend uniform.

Purchased your "survivor" utlilikilt in OD Green at the Highlander games event in central Cali last month. I believe that I may be the only one in the area with a utilikilt. I get all sorts of strange looks and "passing" comments. Nobody makes insults . . . I don't look like I play well with others. Love it though. Wearing it to a friends wedding in a few weeks. They dared me to do it . . . I'm happy to oblige.

I have lived in Scotland for many years and thoroughly enjoy many of its traditions, music, food, and peoples.
My brother was born there too, so it holds a special value in my family here in the USA.

I have never found a kilt that identifies me in the way a traditional tartan fits a Scotsman, even though I can wear the tartan worn by the USMC, I wanted something more practical, more rugged, more daily?!....that was all a dream until a couple of years ago when I saw a Utilikilt at a local Ren Faire.
I had to know more.

Almost two years later, several distractions, a new house, a new car, and alot of research later, I am finally the proud owner of a Utilikilt.
I plan to wear it frequently, and if the liberty it has afforded my "being" thus far is an indication, it will see much use in my future.

I'd especially like to thank Meshell over in New Hope PA, sole owner and propriator of a little(and I mean small) shop called God Save the Qweens.
She has the floor space of a large walk-in closet but still had a few Utilikilts in stock. Lucky she had one that met my needs, and made me feel a newly liberated man.

I am not the only happy camper though, my girlfriend loves my new Utilikilt too.

/salute Utilikilt

Greatest thing ever for working outside in the Oklahoma summer. Wish I had gotten one sooner. I may never wear shorts again.

Hey guys! I stopped into the store on Friday and Saturday and ended up with my 2nd Utilikilt. First one is a tan original, my new one is a dark brown workman. It was missing the modesty snaps on the back (like I need those anyway other than for the knowledge that I have a "complete Kilt"). I told Tim I wanted to wear it on Saturday night out to the bars, and he said sure thing man, just bring it back tomorrow and we'll get the snaps put on it and ship it to you. You guys rock! Now I just have to wait until it shows up at my house to start wearing it. Let's hope it's soon. I have a trip to Vegas in May and need to have a kilt to wear while I'm there.

Received my Workmans while in Fla last mos. and survived the red-necks at the local "ARCADIA RODEO" while wearing it. A few comments referred to it as a skirt, but once i explained to "slim" it was an "AMERRRIKAN-MADE-KILT" he agreed with his 20-something son that it was indeed " aw-shucks cool". Luckily I wasn't "hung-by-the-neck-til-dead", as it was dare to wear"pink" day for Breast Cancer!!!

Dressed To Kilt charity fashion show in New York April 5, 2010. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America, the Erskine Hospital of Scotland and the Wounded Warrior Project. I was really disappointed that no Utilikilts were on the runway. Not Utilikilts fault. But good hell, who wears plaid? Give me a Utilikilt anyday. I have three

I now own three. 1 regular. 2 survival. There has been 62 days in this year. I have only worn pants 5 of them. Repeat five of them. Wish I had the money to get more. I walk all over Salem. I am on a pool league too. Some days I walk over 10 miles. Weather permitting. I am not into the rain much. Should move someplace warmer. Lol.

Purchased the black Workman's Saturday! It's been worn to church and extremely well recieved, the mall, and commented on in different ways, and well about town. Tonight, worn in lodge and most everywhere else I go. As to losing friends because of a kilt. They weren't true friends if they off you about your style. FREEEEEEDOOOOOM!!! I LOVE IT

I would love to buy one of your utilikilts but the price is WAY too far outside of my ballpark. For the price of even the cheapest kilt, I could go to a local seamstress and have them make me a very close replica and still walk away with 3/4 of my money still in my pocket. I know your company loves it's products but the prices could be adjusted to reach a more favorably audience. I don't know of too many construction workers that can or would buy a pair of pants for $187.
